May 1, 2017 Revisited, Pt. 7

We’ve come to one of my favorite parts of this chase. After letting the Gretna supercell cross Hwy 29 to our north, we pursued to find a better vantage point. A couple miles up the road, we found a school and pulled off to this view. We had it all. A visible mesocyclone, a precip core very close to us,  and we were right in the inflow notch.
