May 1, 2017 Revisited Pt. 4

If you’ve made it this far, congratulations. It finally starts to get interesting. After the “storm of the day” (more to come on that later), we went down to Danville to wait for the main event coming up out of NC. We were immediately greeted by a tornado warning, so we set up near the airport to wait for it. We never did get any rotation, so after a while of waiting, we decided to head into Danville to see what was going on. This photogenic shelf cloud greeted us, so we got some shots before deciding it was a good idea to head East before we got cored. This is one of our first shots.
